it's sunday, which means i can take to my special perch and watch the elm/broadway street protestors in full view. protesting at this intersection is nothing news. as far back as i can remember, peace protestors have quietly (silently even) crowded onto the corner with signs and pamphlets every sunday morning from noon until 1. but since 9-11 and building up to the war in iraq, the dynamics of the protesting on the corner has changed.

sadly, i have to go to the peabody museum now, and i will finish reporting on the timeline of new haven corner protesting when i get back (what a mean teaser).
