there are some things i read, and just don't understand. this is from a website for altar magazine, which just sent out a mass solicitation for submissions. i never heard of altar before, and i don't think i can get through their mag if it is anything like their mission statement. it may just be because i'm a linguist that some of these terms seem a little, well...i won't apply an adjective to them, but you can. i'm all for word reclamation, and the power that words contain...but sometimes i think there are limits...like when new words take 5 minutes to parse and comprehend.
